Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms regarding refunds and cancellations for the event planning and management services provided by ZestaraEvents. As a service-based business, our policy differs from that of physical goods. Please read it carefully.

1. Initial Deposits & Retainer Fees

To secure our services and book a date for your event, an initial deposit or retainer fee is required. This deposit is non-refundable. It covers the initial work, consultations, research, and administrative costs involved in the preliminary stages of planning and also guarantees our availability for your event date, preventing us from booking other clients.

2. Cancellation by the Client

If you wish to cancel our services after signing the Service Agreement, the following terms apply based on the notice period provided before the scheduled event date:

  • Cancellation 90+ days prior to the event: You will be refunded any amount paid, excluding the non-refundable initial deposit.
  • Cancellation 31-89 days prior to the event: You will be liable for 50% of the total event contract value. Any payments made beyond this amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the event: No refund will be issued, and the full contract amount will be due. This is because at this stage, significant work has been completed and costs have been incurred with vendors on your behalf.

3. Cancellation by ZestaraEvents

In the highly unlikely event that ZestaraEvents must cancel its services for reasons other than Force Majeure, we will provide a full refund of all payments you have made to us, including the initial deposit. We will also make every effort to assist you in finding a suitable replacement planner.

4. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under the Service Agreement due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, government regulations, or natural disasters. In such cases, payments made are non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule the event for a future date, subject to availability.
